7 Weeks, 7 Hours

Henry is 7 weeks old today, and two nights ago he went 7 hours between feedings at night!! I still got up and pumped at 4 hours, and then actually went into his room to see if he was still breathing at 6 hours, but low and behold he slept and slept and slept. Hopefully next time I will actually take advantage of it!! Ha!!

We've been putting him in his crib now for a week instead of having him in the cradle in our room. And because he has been gaining weight and doing so well, we were given the green light to let him sleep as long as he wanted to at night. This has definitely improved the sleep situation for Paul and I. He has done more than fine adjusting to the new environment, so it appears having him in our room for the first 6 weeks was more for my peace of mind rather than for his benefit. Here are a few pictures of my slumbering boy in his crib...

  1. 7 hours! So great Jules, and it's a prime number so paul should be happy :)
