Wow! Where has the last month gone?? It has been so long since I've posted... Last Saturday Henry turned 3 months old. I can hardly believe it. He has really come into his own little personality! He smiles more, holds his head up, "talks" (really cooing), sleeps THROUGH THE NIGHT! - just to name a few things that he's accomplished this month! I must say, we feel so incredibly blessed because he is such a good baby. He eats and sleeps well and only fusses when he's hungry or very tired. He even does well being passed around in a big group! (This is good because he has so many loving friends and family who love to dote on him!)
Now that I feel like we have really gotten the hang of things we had a new challenge for our family. This week has been my first week back to work, and Henry's first week at daycare. So far we are three days in and it's gone well! Monday morning was really hard for me... I definitely cried leaving him. It just feels so unnatural to leave your baby! But, he has done really well, and his "teachers" already love him! He has continued to take his long afternoon naps, and I feel so fortunate because I have been able to go and nurse him over my lunch hour. It has definitely helped me with my transition!
I am quickly realizing the challenges of being a working mom and all of the demands for my time. I am confident that we will get into the swing of things after a while, but in the meantime I am allowing myself the freedom to not have it all done all the time! Ha! Anyways, enough rambling. Here are Henry's 2 month and 3 month "chair shots" to see how much he's grown! I just can't get enough of him...
